COVID-19 Update: March Board of Trustees Meeting Cancelled and Office Closed to the Public

MPERS is closely monitoring the COVID-19 virus situation. Given Governor Edwards' proclamation and the fact the Legislature will adjourn until March 31, 2020, we have canceled the board meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2020. The next board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Also, due to health concerns, beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the building will be closed to the public. Members are encouraged to mail, fax, or email any paperwork that they need to turn in. However, if you must come in person, then we will send someone to the front door to pick the documents up from you.

You can rest assured that, regardless of market fluctuations or COVID-19, you will continue to receive your monthly retirement benefit as usual. Also, you should know that MPERS has a business continuity plan in place for situations like this.
