At the Board meeting held today, May 13, 2026, the Board Chair reviewed and accepted the nomination for the Non-Chief District I Trustee seat for the term beginning 7/1/2026.
Following the close of the nomination period, only one nomination was received for the position. The incumbent trustee, Tyrone Warren, was the sole nominee and will therefore continue serving in his current capacity through the expiration of the term on June 30, 2031.
The Board extends its appreciation to Lieutenant Warren (Bossier City PD) for his continued service, leadership, and valuable contributions to the System and its membership. MPERS remains grateful for his ongoing commitment to supporting the mission and fiduciary responsibilities of the retirement system.
