MPERS’s board of trustees and staff mourn the loss ofChief Charles R. “Pete” Bourque (ret.) of the Gonzales Police Department, who passed awayon December 16, 2018. Chief Bourquewas instrumental inestablishing MPERS, and his service included stints aschairman and director. We are extremely grateful for his service, and our hearts go out to his family and friends.
