Non-chief District III Election Called For

Election America, Inc. has been engaged to conduct an election for one trustee position to represent Non-chief District III.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees called for an election withnominations opening April 1, 2024. The Non-chief District III position is for a term beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2029. The candidate receiving the most votes for the position will be declared the winner.

April 1, 2024 Postcards mailed to eligible members with information on how to request a nomination packet

May 2, 2024 Nomination petitions due in the post office box of Election America, Inc. by 3:30 p.m. CST.

May 15, 2024 Nomination petitions accepted by Board of Trustees

May 22, 2024 Election postcards mailed, and online voting is opened

June 11, 2024 Online voting closes and ballots due in the post office box of Election America, Inc. by 3:00 p.m. CST.

June 12, 2024 Ballots counted and verified by Election America, Inc.

June 14, 2024 Board Chair accepts certified ballot count and publishes results

July 1, 2024 Nominated or elected trustee takes office
